Smell the fragrance and enjoy the views of the Carlsbad coastline. Interestingly they only sell about 1 to 2% of the flowers grown. Although that number sounds small, it represents about about 1 million flowers. Besides featuring tours of the fields, a primary objective is harvesting 6-8 million flower bulbs each year. The flower bulbs are sold to retail nurseries and over the Internet.
